Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about C12 Twin Cities.
It is neither. It is a full immersion peer advisory forum with a 7-hour agenda that is jam-packed. Solicitation for business is not allowed, but business between members is encouraged if appropriate and after trust has been established. There is a devotional at the beginning of the day that sets the tone for the curriculum and peer engagement.
C12 membership is a monthly fee paid in advance for that month, and is collected regardless of your attendance that month. The forum is typically 10-12 members, and it meets on a certain day of the month every month at the same location. The forum members go deep with each other and often engage outside the monthly meeting as needed. There is a high level of trust and vulnerability, as well as godly counsel and accountability between each of the members, plus a scheduled monthly 1:1 with the Chair for whatever the member may need.
The meeting includes the typical peer advisory activities of open forum and an annual deep-dive into your company, but with a strong element of prayer and concern for each other. There is a check-in on work-life balance and company health, plus MBA-level curated curriculum prepared by the national office on a wide variety of relevant topics, facilitated by the Chair. We hear this often at the end-of-day wrap-up: “I thought I might skip C12 this month because I had so much else on my plate, but I am so glad I came. This is exactly what I needed!”
We have a non-solicitation policy. There will not be an outside speaker hoping to win your business after the meeting. Our forums have one mission: to inspire and equip you to run your profitable business as a lighthouse for biblical truth and love. This is accomplished by our full-time professional Chairs facilitating a meeting dedicated to your success in integrating your faith, skills, and experience to steward well the business where God has placed you.
Members and guests sign a pledge of confidentiality. Violation of this pledge is grounds for dismissal from the group.
A healthier work-life balance; an improved walk with God and biblical community; healthier marriages and family life; better financial management in both business and personal life; growth in fitness, rest, and recreation; biblical principles guiding hiring, talent development, and succession; more robust strategic planning; and pricing on purpose based on value rather than market pressure.
C12 is priced to be comparable with other high-quality peer advisory forums in our state.
Access to a national network of C12 member companies; downloadable curriculum from over eight years of content; exclusive, time-tested tools and resources tailored to C12 members; and a very robust strategic planning guide and assessment tool for company health.
